  • What is a Balinese Cat?
A Balinese is a long haired version of a Siamese cat.
  • Do Balinese Shed a Lot?
Balinese are known among long haired cats to not shed very much. Regular grooming is still important though. Because the Balinese has a single coat, as opposed to a double coat of most longhair cats, the hair lies very close to their body. Grooming is easy, as their coat doesn't mat.
  • What Is Your Policy On Declawing?
We don't allow our cats or kittens to be declawed. Provided with proper areas and toys, Balinese cats can easily be trained to scratch on appropriate areas only. Regular nail trims also greatly helps.
  • When Can I Get My Kitten?
Your kitten should be ready by 12 weeks old. Kittens need their basic immunizations and to be fully litter trained and weaned.
  • Where Is Your Cattery Located?
We are located in the Twin Cities, Minnesota.
  • Are Your Balinese Cats Registered?
Yes, our Sire and Queen are registered purebreds with both CFA and TICA, two of the most reputable cat registries in the USA. All of our kittens come with pet registration papers.
  • Do You Sell Breeding Cats?
We don't sell any cats for breeding purposes.
  • How Do I Reserve A Kitten?
Contact us with the details of what sex and colors you are most interested in. To add your name to our wait list, we do require a deposit.
  • Do You Have a Health Guarantee?
Absolutely. Our cats are certified free of feline leukemia virus (FeLV), and feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV) and aginst congetial defects.
  • Are Balinese Cats Hypoallergenic?
Balinese cats are one of a few breeds considered "hypoallergenic". This simply means that they produce fewer allergens than others. There is no such thing as a "100%" hypoallergenic cat (or dog). Balinese cats are known to produce very low levels of the FEL D1 protien (this is the protien that most people are allergic to).
  • What Is the Personality of a Balinese Cat?
Balinese are very intelligent and curious, like Siamese cats. They tend to be very vocal and love when you answer them back. They tend to be mischevious, creative, loving and always at the door to greet you when you come home. While every cat has it's individual personality, properly socialized Balinese cats tend to be extremely outgoing. They love riding around on your shoulders so they can be a part of everything you are doing!
  • How Are Your Kittens Raised?
We raise our kittens in our home, to ensure they are socialized and well adjusted kitties. Our cats and kittens health and happiness is our priority! Our kittens are raised along with children (of various ages), our loveable Beagle/Corgi/Basset Bella, and our 3 parrots.
